Who Tula don epp 3
Right away, Panbi got to work and started preparing for the competition with the help of Tula. It was the Nigerian Visual Arts Competition and they had just 4 weeks to prepare.
As the competition drew nearer, Panbi got more discouraged and would say things like,
‘Tula I’m tired of this everyday practice’, ‘don’t think I can do this’
And Tula would be like…
‘You can do this!’.
Tula was with him every step of the way like…
‘I gat you’.
Then the D-day day arrived. The venue was the Civic Centre, Victoria Island.
When Panbi got there he was like…
He never expected the number of contestants he saw there. They were over 100 from all regions of the country.
Immediately he lost all hope of winning and started complaining like…
‘How am I supposed to compete against all these artists? I told you this was pointless Tula’
Tula could only shake his head and look at him like…
‘If only you would believe in yourself, Panbi’.
So many dignitaries were there, including Oga at the top and his Vice.
‘Da frogam has started?’ ‘Yes sir, they’re waiting for us inside’
After the opening address and introduction of the special guests by the compere, it was time for the contestants to unveil their works.
One after the other, the MC introduced all the art works, with loud cheers from the crowd each time.
Then it got to Panbi’s turn.
‘Che Guevara’ by Panbi!’, shouted the Compere as he unveiled his drawing.
The crowd went wild!
‘I don get fans be that’, Panbi thought to himself in glee.
On and on the compere went until all the contestants had introduced their works. All 102 of them.
Then it was time for the judges to make their decision. Unlike the excited crowd, they all just sat there with strong faces like…
They first cut down the list of contestants, from 102 to 20. And Panbi made it!
Then they cut them down to just 2. And Panbi was one of them.
Panbi was already shaking in his chair like…
The other contestant, Kunle Galant, appeared pretty confident, though.
‘And why shouldn’t he, thought Panbi to himself. Galant was a two-time winner of the competition. ‘Na im papa get this award, abeg’
And the winner is…
Galant was already like…
But the MC was looking at him like…
”PANBI JOR!!!’
The crowd erupted!
Panbi couldn’t believe it!
Tula looked at him like…
Then it was time to receive the Grand Prize. N10 MILLION!!! Panbi walked to the stage like…
‘I want to say a big thank you to God for shaming Galan..sorry, Satan, and for letting my light shine. My Hive people, thank you o! And to my friend and mentor without whom I won’t be here today, I say GOD BLESS YOU!’.
And just like that, Panbi became a superstar and millionaire.
Panbi cruised back to school like..
(Mama I made it!)
FASTFORWARD SIX MONTHS
On a cool afternoon, a young man walked up to Panbi and was like,

‘Oga Panbi, i want to draw as well as you do. I’m already good oo, but I just need to know what materials you use’
And Panbi smiled to himself like..
THE END.
